The liturgical tradition of the church is Central to Low. We are quite informal and flexible. We have a Sunday morning communion service and twice yearly memorial services. We also hold services in our local care homes. Occasionally, we hold prayer for healing within our communion services and also informal prayers, gathering different topics of concern from the congregation. We hold a communion service before the lunch club once a month.
We take safeguarding of children, women and adult seriously, our safeguarding policy is easily accessible in our church. Our safeguarding coordinator is Eileen Wilmore and her phone number is 01902494166.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
THE CHURCH BUILDINGS
Our Mission Statement is
“Serving Jesus Christ”
We are part of a team of churches with All Saints Darlaston and Saints Lawrence's Darlaston in Wednesbury Deanery of the Lichfield Diocese.
The church is 167 years old and in 2007 we have made several sympathetic alterations to make it a place of welcome for everybody. We are lucky to have a hall in the same grounds and is used regularly by a variety of groups throughout the week. An African church, St John’s, uses our hall on Sundays for their worship.
We offer an opportunity to meet with us on the 1st and third Saturday of the month as our church is open as a “Place of
Welcome.” This is an opportunity to enquire about weddings, baptisms etc.
